XDiavel 1260 by AEM Factory

This XDiavel 1260S was the other bike we prepared for EICMA 2016, placed on the opposite side of our our booth where you’d find our yellow Scrambler 800: a muscular low-rider embodying both elegance and sense of speed; that year Racer Bronze was the finish we chose as “family feeling” but, on this one, we went for a brushed aluminum-like custom paint job and the final result was stunning. A nice Easter egg just a few noticed back then, the “X” on the fuel tank was actually a pair of upside-down mirrored “A” from our company’s logo!

We kept it basically stock and created plenty of parts to show how nice an XDiavel can be with our parts alone, and turned out crazy good: not long after the end of the international event the bike was sold and, as far as we know, the owner is still riding it around here in northern Italy.

1- This powerful steel horse needs some trusty reins: the offer for such a challenging part was very small on the market, our triple clamps kit was surely eye-catching. Way lighter than OEM counterpart it was enriched with gr.5 titanium hardware, a black anodized front cover and a see-through machining on the lower clamp. A cherry on top was the gr.5 titanium steering stem nut. These parts are in our catalogue still today.

3- When Ducati introduced it, this was the first model using a belt final drive instead of the regular chain, a clear nod to a certain American brand, right? Since its birth AEM Factory has been a leader pursuing the best performances a sprocket setup can give and this represented a new challenge: we weren’t scared by the task at all and quickly created the X-Pulley, again way lighter than OEM and matching the wheel’s design perfectly!
In this picture is shown as complete setup, with our titanium cush drive kit, a Star-6 flange and a Carbon Black aluminum wheel nuts kit.

4- On the opposite side you can see our Gallettone: we invented this back in the regular Diavel days but it’s meant to be on these wide rear wheel equipped bikes, embracing modernity but serving vintage vibes.

5- Quick lock fuel tank caps are another product we’ve been offering since the beginning: what you can do now, is using an online configurator to create a tailored combination!

6- Our adjustable brake/clutch levers have also undergone major developments over the years, improving their regulation mechanism and refreshing the brackets’ design: what hasn’t changed is that you can get them both in aluminum, as shown below, or carbon fiber, just clicking on the links!

7- Another classic, that will fit both this bike and its older sister, are our brake/clutch OEM fluid reservoirs’ caps: machined from billet aluminum with our “Linear” design, you can combine them with other two items with the same aesthetic, our frame caps kit and the radiator expansion tank cap.

Below you can see a couple other items that we designed for this bike: unfortunately adjustable rearsets have been discontinued, but if you like these timing belt covers, contact us as soon as you can, very very limited quantities are still available and once gone we’ll discontinue them, so… hurry up!
