Monster 1200 by AEM Factory

This Monster 1200S was so nicely put together that lasted very briefly in our hands: it was early 2017 and once we completed it, a customer took a quick look at it and decided to buy it right away. Would you blame him?

This time we didn’t want it to look too different from the stock version, we just wanted to show how AEM Factory components could enrich its aesthetic and improve its performances. Aside from the complete racing exhaust, mixing titanium manifolds by Spark and carbon fiber slip-ons by Termignoni, we added our parts in black/red of the  OEM livery, blending in perfectly.

1- Our sprocket kit: in this picture you can appreciate the timeless design of our D-Sei flange based kit with full titanium bi-hex upgrades, used for sprocket carrier’s, cush drive kit’s and wheel’s hub nuts. It’s super light, as we always underline, the lightest single brand complete kit in the world still today. Not visible in this picture, the complementary wheel centering cone.

2- A must have: our integrated titanium brake and clutch fluid reservoirs; they allow you to eliminate the rubber hoses and get the cleanest setup. Many years have passed since these pics were taken, now you can completely customize them and add a carbon fiber cap, because why not? And if you prefer having a sight glass, in 2024 we introduced an aluminum version. Just click here and choose those you like more!

3- In this next picture you can see the very early version of our aluminum levers: the mounting bracket was flat with an engraved AEM logo, triangular regulation screw and stainless steel screw; over the years we improved basically everything about this item, new regulation mechanism, more refined brackets’ design and added tapered head titanium screws.

4- This is the smaller version of our titanium integrated fluid reservoirs (TA005), used on the clutch master cylinder. A nice touch were the titanium bleeder screws.

5- Over the years the request for complete triple clamps kits decreased quite a bit, nonetheless we still offer kits for some bikes of the current lineup; here you can admire our riser kit, finely machined from billet aluminum, with complete titanium screws’ kit, perfectly fitting OEM upper clamp.

6- Tiny detail that comes in help in the worst case scenario: our front wheel sliders can prevent your forks bottoms from getting scratched; they’re completely machined, yes, the Teflon parts too, and can be anodized in any color from our range. Dropping your bike while riding is bad enough already, with these you can avoid ruining your forks, adding a nice touch of color too!
