Rough Crafts collabs.

Winston Yeh is the mind behind the Rough Crafts brand and no matter the bike he’ll decide to customize, you’ll immediately recognize his style: he won many awards and his creations have been published on specialized magazines and website countless times; he worked on bikes from lot of different brands and, through the years, when it came to Ducati and MV Agusta, we partnered with him and provided some key components like sprocket kits and rearsets. Below you can find a few examples with brief comments from Winston himself.
If you like Rough Crafts’ creations, you can keep up with upcoming project following Winston on Instagram!
Ballistic Trident – “The base for this build was a 2015 Brutale 800RR: it was commissioned by MV Agusta Taiwan, to showcase the world how a MV Agusta bike can be transformed into something unique with Rough Crafts flavor; while looking at old pictures of MV vintage racing GP prototypes featuring those big dustbin full fairings, I immediately decided that had to be the biggest visual reference and AEM Factory came up with this beautifully machined sprocket with colors matching the whole bike.”
If you ride a MV with radial sprocket setup you can either use our Radial kit or update it to the newer version used by MV on latest models.

Guerrilla Tre – “The concept for this second Brutale 800 was transforming it into some kind of urban scrambler, for the fact MV didn’t really have this type of bike yet, and I really want to apply our favorite Guerilla philosophy to it!”
Again, for this 2015 Brutale we supplied a completely blacked-out radial sprocket kit with upgraded gr.5 titanium hardware.

Igneous Ripper – “Next project was transforming a Hypermotard 939 into something completely different to suit a tall rider: the tricky part? Making it way lower! So I came up with some kind of “Street Tracker” style, a flat tracker styling bike with regular tires for the daily use on asphalted streets.”
For this build we could use a set of our Hypermotard adjustable rearsets with foldable foot-pegs and our super light sprocket setup based on the iconic Spin flange: this kit is shown in Carbon Black, Light Bronze with gr.5 titanium upgraded nuts; you can find the perfect colors’ combination using our online configurator!

Indigo Flyer – “I’ve been a Monster fan since I can remember. Before I was legal to ride a bike, I saw pictures of Ducati Monster all over books and magazines and, to me, that sexy trellis frame with narrow L-twin motor was the ultimate street bike but, for some reason, I never owned one myself. And when 2014 Ducati introduced their latest Monster iteration, the 1200cc, I was in love again! This time I wanted to bring back some kind of the discontinued sport-classic series vibe, especially the Paul Smart with the half fairings.”
As someone that is not afraid to break the rules, this time Winston asked us a sprocket setup based on the Star-6 flange in a Rhodium Silver + Pepita Gold combo, to match the bike’s badge and carbon fairings’ decorations.

Jab Launcher – “This build was for a very good friend, who always liked Ducati: he loves racy style street bike but something like a Panigale would be too much as he’s never seen himself going to a race track, so when the Scrambler has been introduced, he instantly told me that it would have been the best starting point for his cafe racer build. We changed quite a lot and one of the hardest trick to pull has been fitting a Monster 1100 single sided swing-arm, but once we succeeded making it work properly, AEM Factory sent me another of their amazing rear sprocket setups in Carbon Black, Lava Red and some Rhodium Silver accents, super classic color scheme for a Ducati; that’s the perfect icing on the cake to complete the quality look!”
